Good God, my ears are numbed after how many times I listened to this. Queen of Queens, indeed!
I feel like I’m comparing the love-making techniques of two of my lovers. While I’m crazy about my present love, my heart aches and longs for what I had once. My skin loves the smoothness and tender touches of today, but still remembers the ecstasy caused by the roughness of a two-day-old beard. Curves and heavens versus angles and heavens. The wild sweetness versus the sweet wildness (if that makes any sense whatsoever). You know I’m actually talking about singing, don’t you?
It was a sweet roughness in Freddie’s (rockin) voice. I still love him (even though I fell in love with him just before his death and never saw him live). Yes, I never saw them live, but I have every piece of music they’ve ever recorded (B sides, studio sessions and never-released songs included). God bless... well, certain Internet services. However, I don’t know anyone else these days, apart from Mr.A, who could play Queen’s songs and give me the same feelings... and I definitely want more!
