It took me half a year to decide to write on my own blog. I understand why companies, institutions, famous people, artists and their fans have blogs, but I’m still puzzled by everyone else’s need to ‘expose’ themselves on the Internet. Someone there said “blogging makes you better at life”. Really? If this is the case, I want that too! Besides, my comments on other people’s blogs have themselves the length of entire posts and I often go way beyond their topics. It’s about time for me to get my own place and stop bothering others.
As I blog in a language that is not my native one and I don't really use it in my 'real life', I don’t call myself a 'writer' or a 'blogger'. Just think of me as an immigrant street dancer or mime who's found a good place in this humongous ‘Virtual Plaza’ and the guts to take a chance at performing in front of random passersby. I'd say this is a place for me to waltz (my mind) on 'binary tunes'. Whatever the reasons for you to wind up in here, beware, I’m actually not a professional (mind) dancer! You might witness (mind) twitching and crushing and you might get 'lost in translation'. In some cases, that would make two of us!
You should know that there is a fandom out there, in the Internet world, that scratched my brain and made it itch and long for, well, whatever I’m doing here. You should also know that I usually smile behind the mask that I wear. :-)
